Key responsibilities:

  • Execute repairs and maintenance activities across a range of crushing and screening equipment

  • Diagnose breakdowns and defects

  • Work proactively to identify issues and maximize plant utilization

  • Report incidents and near misses

  • Work with MEX maintenance system

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Current drivers licence (HR preferred but not essential)
  • Fully qualified Mechanic
  • Confident in all aspects of Plant repairs
  • Highly experienced in maintenance and repairs of mobile crushing plant and associated heavy mobile equipment
  • Preferred experience with CAT, Komatsu, Terex-Finlay, McCloskey
  • Crushing experience is essential
  • Competent with computers
  • Outstanding work ethic and commitment to getting the job done
  • Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety
  • Ability to instruct and oversee operators while undertaking repairs
  • Hard working and adaptable to change
  • Work as part of a team
  • Ability to work flexible hours
